Safety first! Safety technology from Wieland protects man and machine, monitors processes and helps to avoid errors. Our safety range extends from safety switching devices for all applications to modular systems that meet even complex customer requirements.

Wieland's great portfolio of safety switching devices covers all major safety functions. The devices are suitable for monitoring safety sensors such as emergency stop switches, light curtains, position switches, magnetic switches, two-hand switches and many other applications.

We provide extremely strong relay contacts up to AC 250V/6A and supply voltage up to AC 230 V. We offer optional plug-in terminals for minimized downtimes and easy maintenance. Furthermore, our system comprises devices for stop category 0 and 1.

Safety Center

Safety Center

Modular safety system for monitoring of a maximum of 64 safety sensors.

The innovative safety controller module safety center is used wherever traditional safety switching devices have reached their limits and safety control systems are too extensive.

Safety center combines the best of both safety environments: easy operation without programming as well as diagnostics via optional fieldbus interfaces. Starting with five safety channels, the use of safety center is more economical than the common safety switching devices.

Samos

Samos

Samos® stands for safety modular system. The safety system with only a few multifunctional base modules is interlinked according to the modular principle and extends its safety functions module by module.

Benefits

· Samos® is a safety system consisting of function modules in a 22.5 mm wide housing with 8 inputs and 4 safe outputs each.

· The modular design enables an extension of inputs and outputs.

· The system guarantees flexible use including monitoring of the most varied safety sensors (emergency stop switches, light curtains, position switches, magnetic switches, two-hand switches, etc.).

· It is possible to create staggered safety zones.

· Logical functions are integrated for linking the function modules.

· Applications for stop categories 0 and 1 can be implemented.

· Optional fieldbus diagnostics are available.

· The system is operated and functions like other well-known safety switching devices.

· Eight complete safety functions can be selected for each function module.

· Two complete safety circuits can be monitored with one function module.

· All safety functions are set with a screwdriver.
