Emergency stop circuits which shut down corresponding machine parts as quickly, safely and reliably as possible are indispensable to protect both man and machine.

Safety relays solve this problem safely and simply in that the main power circuits are switched by a control current circuit equipped with force-guided redundant relay contacts, i.e. with duel safety. During each on/off cycle, automatic function monitoring takes place to ensure that the relevant equipment cannot be switched on in the event of failure of a safety circuit. (Self monitoring).
