Grab Wire Switches Saftey-Grab Grab-wire switches are used as an emergency stop device and are ideal for installations along or around awkward machinery such as conveyors. They provide a continuous length of emergency stop access via a cable (rope). These switches will lock-out if the cable loses tension or is pulled. This action isolates the machine power thus stopping the hazardous motion. Grab wire switches are available in steel and stainless steel and therefore are ideal for conveyor applications in food and beverage factories.
