Floor Standing EnclosuresMonobloc floor standing enclosures.
These enclosures are usually constructed from 1.5mm welded sheet steel or stainless steel, although glass reinforced polyester versions are available.
Models are fitted with either with 1 or 2 doors, depending on their size. The 2 door models have no central support, giving full access to the interior of the panel and making the installation of the components simple.
The doors are mounted on removable hinges, which gives full access to the
interior of the enclosure.
Enclosures are fixed to the floor at four points or onto a plinth.
This enclosure arrangment is usually used where a single floor standing cabinet is required.
Modular floor standing enclosures.
These differ from monoblock enclosures in the following ways :
- The rear panels are removable and can be replaced by doors to allow front and rear accessibility for double sided panel constuction.
- The side panels are equally removable allowing enclosures to be positioned side-by-side and the installation of a set of three or four pole power distribution busbars along the length of the panel.
